Yuri's Night is a international celebration of space exploration, named after Yuri Gagarin, the first human in outer space.  Come dance under the stars of the Planetarium and explore the Science Gallery in celebration of humanity's exploration of space and achievements that extend beyond our planet.

Combining two of the city’s most exciting performance groups, The Dirty Catfish Brass Band and Dr. Hotbottom are teaming up to form a 14 piece funk monster and are presenting Winnipeg with its first “Hot & Dirty Dance Party”. Some original compositions, with music made popular by the great soul groups of the past; including but not limited to, Earth Wind and Fire, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. 
A 7 piece horn section and a 7 piece rhythm section, including 2 drummers!
