The We Rise Above film series explores issues in freedom, human rights and the need to eradicate racism and injustice.  The series also contains many tales of courage and human dignity with an entertaining and thought-provoking look at the Raging Grannies movement, a group of older women who refuse to sit down and let life pass them by.  We Rise Above is presented In partnership with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
