Geoff Hughes’ play Unequal Harvest, an intense play on food sovereignty and the world food crisis, will be presented on Friday, April 30, at 8:30 p.m., at Our Lady of Victory Parish Hall, 249 Arnold Street (Osborne St. S., two blocks north of Morley).
Unequal Harvest has been described as “Gripping and heartbreaking in equal measure, an urgent and compassionate call to understand the real lives and people behind the appalling statistic of a billion people going hungry” by Raj Patel, author of Stuffed and Starved.
There'll also be a Mass at 7:00 p.m.
Poster Contest awards will be presented at 8:15 p.m.
Refreshments will be served.
