Video Pool: Meredith LaRocque

Come down to Video Pool to explore Video Stories with Meredith LaRocque. Look at video and music in a radically new way. Transform your ideas into a live dynamic and colorful performance through creative writing, drawing, playing, experimenting and learning the technical skills to create live video to music. Experience blending and mixing video to electronic rhythms and performing it in live party atmosphere.

Classes will be held on June 15 and 16, from 5:00 p. m. to 10:00 p. m.

Meredith LaRocque studied Modern and Contemporary dance for 8 years at the Conservatory of Performing Arts, the University of Regina and received a scholarship of study at the University of California. With a background in dance and choreography incorporating digital graphic projections, Meredith has performed all through Saskatchewan as well as the Toronto Dance Festival and graduate concerts in Irvine, California.
With a passion for technology, she has been actively exploring the interplay between animation and music in real time using various software programs, video projectors, mixing equipment and innovative screens.
