Lydia's Pub: Ariel Gordon, Jonathan Ball, John Toone

Sunday October 3 don't miss Tonight It's Poetry, an amazing night of poetry and performance with 3 of Canada's most talented young authors. 

The evening begins at 8:00 p. m. and continues to midnight.

Come and hear:
Ariel Gordon, a Winnipeg-based writer and editor.  She has 2 chapbooks, The navel gaze and Guidelines: Malaysia & Indonesia, and a full-length poetry collection, Hump  to her credit. 
She recently won the John Hirsch Award for Most Promising Manitoba Writer at the Manitoba Book Awards. 
Ariel likes tromping through the woods and taking macro photographs of mushrooms.

Jonathan Ball is the author of the poetry books Ex Machina and the forthcoming Clockfire. His film Spoony B appeared on The Comedy Network, and his writing has appeared in The Believer and Harper’s
He is the former editor of dandelion and the former short films programmer for the Gimli Film Festival. 
He holds a Ph.D. in English with a focus in Creative Writing from the University of Calgary.

John Toone has published a collection of poetry, From Out of Nowhere, and 2 kids’ books Catch that Catfish! and Hope and the Walleye
His poems also appear in the story Sixgun Quixote from the new graphic novel The Imagination Manifesto
