The WECC: The D.Rangers

The West End Cultural Centre and UMFM 101.5 FM are presenting the The D.Rangers Finale Show on Tuesday, November 25.

The D.Rangers consist of: Jaxon Haldane (vocals, banjo, saw) and Chris Saywell (acoustic guitar), with background vocals by:  Aaron Goss (mandolin), Tom Fodey (bass) and Don Zueff (fiddle).

Tickets: $12 Advance | $15 Door
Available at the West End Cultural Centre, Ticketmaster, Music Trader, and Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store
Doors 7:15 p. m. | Show 8:00 p. m.

The D.Rangers' brand of musical joy is a brilliantly inventive blend of bluegrass, western swing, punk rock and just about anything else.

Described as 'arm-swinging hillbilly-stomp', their live shows are an engaging mix of originals, traditional classics and off-the-wall covers.

With a stage show featuring a 'muckbucket' bass (made from a plastic tub, some old lumber and 2 rope strings) and a musical saw, they’ve played folk festivals, bluegrass festivals, bars, halls and clubs throughout Canada.

You can expect numerous guest appearances from friends made during their decade-long career.  These include David Essig, Matt Masters, Shuyler Jansen, Romi Mayes and more.

The performance will be recorded by Mark Marynuk as part of "The D.Rangers documentary farewell film".

Have a great day.  How can you miss - you're in Winnipeg!
