When the world seems sad and family is far away, a single butterfly can make all the difference. Joe and Matrine weave a funny and touching story of how the legendary friend and trickster created beautiful butterflies, bringing wonder and laughter to children everywhere.
Author, educator and storyteller Joe McLellan is a deacon assigned to St. John Brebeuf Parish. Joe is a skilled facilitator and storyteller who has travelled across North America giving workshops for teachers and students.
Matrine Therriault McLellan has co-authored the Nanabosho stories with Joe. Matrine wishes all Aboriginal children to learn their language and be proud of their heritage as she is.
