Come to Aqua Books on Thursday, January 13, at 8:00 pm, for an evening of jazz with Anna-Lisa Kirby.

Before moving to Winnipeg Anna-Lisa Kirby established her professional career as a jazz vocalist in New York City. She has shared the stage with many world-class jazz artists including Wynton Marsalis, Cyrus Chestnut, Ted Nash and Stefon Harris.
Anna-Lisa made her debut with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in January 2010 and continues to be a favourite feature performer with the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra.
Currently she is the Jazz Program coordinator and jazz vocal instructor at the University of Manitoba Marcel A. Desautels Faculty of Music.
Anna-Lisa is featured on the Larry Roy and Steve Kirby 2008 CD release Wicked Grin and is the vocalist for Steve Kirby’s acclaimed Oceanic Jazz Orchestra.
