The University of Manitoba welcomes Dr. Feiyue Wang, who is presenting Chemical Contamination and Climate Change: Two Battles on One Front

On Wednesday January 19, at 7:00 pm Dr. Feiyue Wang will be speaking in the McNally Robinson Atrium as part of the University of Manitoba Bringing Research to Life Speaker Series.

Human activities have resulted in increased chemical contamination in our environment today. As we start to enforce more emission controls, it seems that containment levels in ecosystems are increasingly affected by climate-induced changes. The shift from “emission control” to “process control” makes it all the more urgent to address chemical contamination and climate change as one entity. Dr. Feiyue Wang will share case studies from the Canadian Arctic and elsewhere.
