The Opp Shop

The Opportunities for Kids Thrift Shop is officially open!

They are located at 462 Sherbrook Street, just south of Ellice, facing the side of West End Cultural Center.
Drop in Monday to Saturday, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Phone: 415-7597

So far they've gotten great feedback from customers.
No one can believe how cheap everything is!

As well as second-hand treasures, they also feature local art and handmade jewelry.
Carly Stefanowich has just dropped off some gorgeous feather earrings!

Contact them if you are interested in selling something.

Come spring their focus will be to provide opportunities for youth to gain volunteer employment training.  Their goal is to partner with existing employment programs.  Any profit raised from the Thrift Shop will go directly to support future programs and opportunities for kids!

Currently they are accepting donations of clothing, accessories (jewelry, purses, etc.), and household items (no large furniture, please).
If you have anything you'd like to donate, just stop in!

Thanks to all who have been an endless supply of help, support, and of course, generous donations.
We couldn't be doing this without our community!

Note from Insti Tute-Wgs:
Have a Red Dress to donate for the REDress project and installation on the UW campus?

Our pals at the Opp Shop are collecting donations for the project - check 'em out!
