Ivan Coyote: The Power of Personal Narrative

Join us on Wednesday, March 16 at 7:30 pm for Ivan E. Coyote's lecture, Chest Air: The Power of Personal Narrative, as part of the Carol Shields Writer-in-Residence program at University of Winnipeg, 515 Portage Avenue, Convocation Hall, on the second floor of Wesley Hall.

It is an accessible venue, through Ashdown and Bryce Halls. 
This event is free and open to the public.

Ivan E. Coyote is an award-winning author of six collections of short stories, including her latest collection Missed Her, one novel, three CDs and four short films. 
A superb story-teller and performer, Coyote works in innovative ways with musicians and other artists to bring her stories alive. 

She is a gifted teacher of creative writing who has mentored writers at Capilano College, Carleton University, and the Vancouver Public Library. She has designed cross-generational workshops for families and memoir writing classes for seniors.
