The Zamboni Break-Through & Hot Art

Multiple Sclerosis: Elevating the Zamboni Break-Through
November 17, 7:30 pm - Grant Park in the Travel Alcove

Please join us at this special presentation from Jeremie N. Rethan, author of
Silencing the Ringing and Neck Crisis: Pain Relief in the Computer Era.

Insufficient blood flow to and from the brain is a major cause of MS disability.
In spite of opposition from neurologists, MS patients who have opted for balloon angioplasty are experiencing increased mobility and symptom liberation. Force of numbers from among patients and their families has leveraged government support.
Dr. Zamboni’s break-through may yet prove to be a defining medical milestone.

This is cost-free non-invasive self-therapy.

Unfortunately, in many cases, relief of symptoms decreases over time.
Opposing forces are using this failure as one reason to counter jugular vein intervention.
New evidence and simple techniques may lead to increased levels and duration of symptom relief.

Hot Art: Chasing Thieves and Detectives through the Secret World of Stolen Art
Joshua Knelman in conversation with Robert Enright of Border Crossings Magazine
November 17, 8:00 pm in Prairie Ink Restaurant

Joshua Knelman willingly plunged down the rabbit-hole of international art theft that eventually took him from Toronto to Cairo, New York, London, Los Angeles and Montreal. Over the course of more than six years of investigative research he tracked down the slippery criminals and culpable collectors, the resourceful and always under-funded art theft detectives, and both innocent and complicit galleries and auction houses.

Joshua Knelman, an award-winning arts and investigative journalist and editor, was a founding member of The Walrus magazine.
His writing has also appeared in Toronto Life, TORO, Saturday Night, CBCarts.ca, the National Post, Quill & Quire, and The Globe and Mail.  Knelman is also the fiction editor of Four Letter Word: A Collection of Fictional Love Letters.
