Oak Hammock Marsh: Valentine's Day Dinner & More

The Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre is located 20 minutes north of Winnipeg on highway 67 between highways #7 and #8.

While ordinary groundhogs living in Manitoba are still sleeping soundly in early February, Manitoba Merv, the weather predicting groundhog, did not see his shadow.  
An early spring is on its way!

chicken parmesan at the Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre.

February 12, 19 and 26 - 9 am to 4 pm 

Learn to carve your very own bluebill decoy from award winning carvers 
Harry Williams, John Frye and Ross Gage. 

There will also be a informational session at the beginning of the course. 
Coffee and light snacks will be provided. 
Bring your own bag lunch or enjoy eating in the Oak Hammock Cafe.

Cost is $70 for Oak Hammock Marsh members and $85 for non-members.

Learn about the intimate relationships between the many planets and 
constellations of the night sky in the comfort of the Theatre.

February 25 - 1 pm  Kid's Nature Craft Club 

This month, the theme is animal tracks. Using plaster and mold, kids will create 
animal tracks similar to the ones found in the marsh.

The Club is most appropriate for children ages 5 to 10. 
Pre-registration is recommended.
Each workshop fee is $5 plus admission. 
You can also purchase a Club Card to be used for six different workshops.
