I'm thrilled to see all of the support we've received in our February donation drive, moving towards our target of $10,000 by February 29 to help support the Winnipeg Film Group and our Cinematheque!

Since 1974, the WFG has been promoting the art of cinema locally with a variety of programs and services. We’ve supported the development of countless filmmakers through all stages of their careers, and we’ve developed our Cinematheque into a
much-loved programming series to bring the very best in independent Canadian and world cinema to local audiences.

But it does take a community to sustain this organization, from volunteers, to audiences and filmmakers accessing our programs and services, to the funding bodies that support our work, right through to the important financial support of our donors.
