Prairie Fire Wordfest / Anne Szumigalski

March 5 until March 10 - nine events in eight venues!!

All lectures and readings are free and open to the public.

This year's focus is on writers, many from Saskatoon, 
who were influenced by Anne Szumigalski.

A reading by Elizabeth Philips at the West Central Women's Resource Centre. 
A reading by Mari-Lou Rowley at Canadian Mennonite University. 
A lecture by Anne Simpson: "Poetry and Community" at the University of Winnipeg. 
A reading by Anne Simpson at the University of Winnipeg.
A lecture by Glen Sorestad: "Pristine and Startled: Ways of Seeing" at St. John's College.
