Sarasvàti Productions will once again produce an evening of monologues. 
This year the mix of old and new pieces will celebrate the women of Winnipeg. 
The evening will once again include a diverse line-up of monologues reflecting 
the wide array of women’s voices. 

From hilarious stories to inspiring journeys, these pieces offer something for everyone.

Special guests will also be part of the evening!! 
Standup Comic Cara Lytwyn will do a short set all about Winnipeg. Lytwyn was the 2008 winner of Winnipeg’s Funniest Person with a Day Job and the 2009 winner of Winnipeg’s Funniest Comic competition. She has performed in the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and the Winnipeg Fringe Festival’s Tazzy’s Angels. 

Amnesty International materials and actions will be available at the event to support human rights for women.

Sarasvàti Productions launched this popular event in 2004 in order to celebrate International Women’s Week. The goal is to provide a broad range of voices, issues and styles that relate to women’s experiences.
