Small Works Gallery Opening: Showing Raw Elegance

Cindy Davidson sees the world as a bountiful color scheme with raw undercurrents of texture. She sees color and its connection to emotion and its healing energy. Experimenting with different techniques, she is excited about pushing each painting to a “higher level”. She invites you to connect with the feeling of each painting and gain some peace and understanding from its presentation.
Cindy was born and raised in Winnipeg, where she lives with her two teenage children.

Paddling in Peeptoes
Being a subscriber to Vanity Fair and Vogue and having a mild obsession with Lady Gaga, Allison Marinelli's love affair for the outdoors often got pushed to the side. She conducted her research in a canoe trip over the 20 km Mantario trail.

With Paddling in Peeptoes, Allison was able to marry her two great loves, and prove that you can wear stilettos and still enjoy a good old fashioned canoe trip.

Allison Marinelli is a Broadcast Journalist for Kidela Capital Group, a multimedia news company focused on sharing the stories of start-up businesses. She completed her degree in Creative Communications at Red River College. She majored in journalism with a diploma from Red River and a degree from the joint program with the University of Winnipeg.
