Canada Day at Oak Hammock Marsh

Enjoy a free piece of Canada's birthday cake at 2 pm, have the Canadian flag or favourite animal painted on your cheeks or take in one of our guided history walks of the marsh.

Try your hands at Canada Day Jeopardy and participate in games and quizzes about our great country.

Remember the Log Driver's Waltz? Watch your favourite vignette as well as many other Canadian content films or a slide presentation on the history of Oak Hammock Marsh in the comfort of our theatre.

Explore some lesser-known parts of the marsh from a horse-drawn wagon from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Extra fee of $5 for non-members of the Interpretive Centre and $3 for members for this half-hour to forty-five minute ride.

The Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre is located 20 minutes north of Winnipeg on highway 67 between highways #7 and #8. For more information call 467-3300 or e mail Jacques Bourgeois.
