The West End Cultural Centre and Transistor 66 presents:
This Hisses Anhedonia Album Release Concert
w/ Pop Crimes & Slow Dancers

Have a listen to the entrancing first single and title track Anhedonia, a tale of rejection and severing from pleasure and desire.

This Hisses is Julia Ryckman, who can croon an aria and/or break glass, Patrick Short, wrangler of ghostly harmonies, and JP Perron, wrecker of all things wood and skin.
Alumni of a variety of stalwart Winnipeg bands, both vicious and arty (The Gorgon, Under Pressure and Mahogany Fro), This Hisses formed in early 2010.
The band's debut album Surf Noir in the summer of 2011, captured a punkier and more primeval version of the band.
