They (my paintings) embody humour and sarcastic wit with a touch of the surreal. A constant theme throughout my work is the dominant woman. - Carol Burns

In the year 2053, a global baby-making ban has put a stop to sexual relations. The world is watched 24/7 by the Remote Affection Detection (R.A.D.) team whose mission is to identify “first base infractions”.  After zeroing in on a young couple from Winnipeg, springing into action, and taking them down in classic b-movie style, one of the guards is left wondering what “it” feels like.

Tender Wild Animal, was originally recorded in Vancouver by Shaden Garett & The 12 Midnights with vocalist Frazey Ford, violinist Jeremy Penner, and pianist Sean Fulton.

Shaden Garett was raised in the Deep South of Manitoba and trained on guitar with published music biographer, John Einarson.  Jeremy Fisher is a two-time JUNO nominee.
Second Hand Pants are Wyll Maynard and Francis Leonard.  Rheanna Melnick has punk rock soul, and lyrics that hit you in the heart.

Aisha Alfa performed at the 2012 and 2013 Winnipeg Comedy Festival, she is host of Winnipeg Free Press online lifestyle channel WFPtv, and a host at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. Yes, Ismaila Alfa is her brother. Yes, her hair is hers and natural.
No, you cannot touch it!
