The Fehrs: Four Centuries of Mennonite Migration
This documents the lives of fifteen generations of Fehrs/DeFehrs. Their history is traced back to the 16th-century Amsterdam grain merchant Gijsbert de Veer. It is a story about heretics, martyrs, grain merchants and brandy distillers; about pioneers, farmers and industrialists.
Arlette Kouwenhoven is a Dutch anthropologist working as a publisher and writer.

Ginny Dennehy discusses how to persevere after life-changing losses. Choosing Hope chronicles her journey from losing her 17-year old son to suicide, to launching a not-for-profit that has raised more than $5 million. She speaks across Canada to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH to the stigma of mental illness.
All the royalties will be donated to The Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation.

Saleema Nayaz received the Robert Kroetsch Award for Best Creative Thesis. A recipient of the prestigious Writers’ Trust of Canada/McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize, Nayaz currently lives in Montreal, Quebec.
