A play for young people by Aurand Harris

In this delightful tale of the Far East, a prince must remain a tiger until he learns what makes a happy man.
Ming Lee, a poor stone cutter, believes wealth and power will bring him joy.
Together they discover the true meaning of happiness - and that "a fine hat does not make a fine head"!

Ming Lee is a special 20th anniversary revival.  It was last staged locally in the 1993 festival with Merlyn Productions director JOHN CHASE in the cast.  It also commemorates one hundred years of its classic style of Chinese theatre on Western stages.

How can you be an adult when you’re still wearing your water wings?

Funky Belt Productions is thrilled to answer that question with Water Wings, a fast, fresh and funny look at modern life and anxiety with a dance break or two.

Water Wings is written by and stars female comedy duo Lake Erie, aka Brie Watson and Erin Rodgers.  Brie is a recent graduate of the Humber College Comedy Program and a 2012 nominee for the "Fresh Meat" comedy competition at the Second City.  Erin has been featured in Macleans Magazine.
The duo met in the Toronto comedy scene, and bonded over their love of comedy, musical numbers, road trips and their confusion in what it means to be a modern grown-up.
