and Lucie Wilk immerses us in a gritty hospital in Malawi. 

Lauren Carter has been nominated for the Journey Prize. Swarm is her first novel. 
Lucie Wilk's short fiction has been nominated for the McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize Anthology. The Strength of Bone is her debut novel.

Stella introduces little brother Sam to the pleasures of reading. 

Marie-Louise Gay is a world-renowned author and illustrator of children’s books. She has won many awards, including the Governor General’s Award. Gay is best known for her books about Stella and Sam, now honoured in a set of stamps from Canada Post.

Four on the Floor: One-Act Stage Comedies

These comedic and farcical plays were written to make audiences laugh. However, each play also offers a perspective about some aspect of contemporary life. 

Dale Watts is the author of 17 plays to date, 11 of which have been produced since 2005. He has works in many areas, recently retiring as the Interim Vice-President Academic and Research at Red River College.
