NUIT BLANCHE WINNIPEG
September 28
A free event. An amazing event.

The Cyclotrope Circus - 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at MAWA, 611 Main Street

The Cyclotrope Circus is a kinetic sculpture based on the idea of a zoetrope, an old cinematic apparatus that creates the illusion of motion from a sequence of static images. Inspired by Eadweard Muybridge’s photographic experiments of the 19th century, The Cyclotrope examines everyday gestures.

The Cyclotrope Circus was created by Montreal-based artistic collaborators Jacquelyn Hébert and Megan Turnbull and Winnipegger Nathalie Coulson.
