Don McCullin: A Retrospective encapsulates the photojournalist’s journey from working class England, to the killing fields around the world, to the pastoral landscapes of Arthurian myth.  An exhibition of approximately 140 black-and-white photographic prints will be on display at the Winnipeg Art Gallery until January 12.

McCullin’s photographs are extremely compelling, transporting the viewer from the front lines of the world’s most dangerous conflict zones to elephant festivals in India, Stephen Borys, Director and CEO of the Winnipeg Art Gallery

Aside from the photography in Don McCullin: A Retrospective, there will be films and video interviews with the artist, as well as magazines and contact prints relating to past assignments.
