Conducted by Artistic Director Henry Engbrecht
The St. Matthew Passion is probably the greatest of the four Passions written by Bach and is scored for solo voices, double choir, treble choir and double orchestra. The Winnipeg Boys Choir, under the direction of Carolyn Boyse, will join Canzona for the concert.

Canzona Choir's inspired collaborations with MusikBarock have brought to life many top quality productions.
The 25th Anniversary year celebrates Monumental Masterpieces and honours Artistic Director Henry Engbrecht, who will conduct both concerts. Engbrecht founded the 16-30 voice ensemble in 1989 inspired by his love of Baroque music.
