Winnipeg's annual documentary film festival Gimme Some Truth! is proud to announce the Winnipeg theatrical premiere of Lost Heroes, introduced by Hope Nicholson, Lost Heroes' producer/researcher and comic book historian.

Directed by Will Pascoe (Orphan Black, Bitten) and produced by Tony Wosk and Kyle Bornais, Lost Heroes documents the history of the Canadian comic book superhero.
From the Golden Age, through the invention of Captain Canuck and Wolverine, to the present day this film asks: Why can't Canada maintain its national superhero?

We will also have a silent auction during our intermission.

All funds raised will be used to provide education and support to those suffering from postpartum depression and youth suffering from mood disorders. Our key focus is to reduce the stigma towards mood disorders.
