Bid on artwork by over 100 of Canada’s hottest artists, including Wanda Koop, Aganetha Dyck, Melanie Rocan, Paul Robles and Diana Thorneycroft.

Elizabeth Bachinsky is the author of Curio, Home of Sudden Service, God of Missed Connections, and I Don’t Feel So Good. Her poetry has been nominated for awards and has appeared in literary journals, anthologies and on film. Her latest book of poetry, The Hottest Summer in Recorded History, balances a youthful playfulness with observational maturity. Co-presented by the Manitoba Writers Guild.

In December 1911, Nicolai Paulencu emigrated from Romania to Canada. His intention was to work for a few months in a coal mine in Canada and return as a rich young man to Romania. It would be sixty years before he ever set foot on Romanian soil again.  

His daughter, Antonia (Paulencu) Nelson is a passionate traveler and volunteer. She was involved with the Manitoba Committee on Wife Abuse; as spokesperson and founding member of MCWA; and volunteered at Osborne House for seven years.
