Wild Edibles Workshop

Discover the potential of some of the common plants of the marsh. Prepare and taste the delicious results. $10 per person plus admission.  Pre-registration is required.

Wildlife Management Area Van Tour with an experienced guide

Oak Hammock features a restored prairie marsh, aspen-oak bluff, waterfowl lure crops, artesian springs, some of Manitoba's last remaining patches of tall-grass prairie and 30 kilometres of trails. $10 plus admission.  Space is very limited.

Activities will help you understand why water is important and how we can conserve it.
Saturday - visit kiosks of our partners, get your passport stamped to win some cool prizes!
Sunday - play water games and learn about the many property of this precious resource.

With the help of our Resident Naturalist, Paula Grieef, you can learn some basics tricks to help you identifying birds. $5 plus admission.  Pre-registration is required.

Camp for Kids of all ages!!

Camp is a great way to gather precious memories and build special friendships!

We have a variety of age-appropriate camps:
Cattail Camp: ages 5 to 7 - Animal detective, puzzle hunt, crafts, games, tasty snacks!
Blackbird Camp: ages 8 to 10 - Games, scavenger hunts and a cool craft!
Wetland Adventure Camp: ages 11 to 13 - Compass scavenger hunt, survival skills, canoeing, and geocaching!

Indigenous Achievement, U of M, and Neechi Niche, will unveil the Commemorative Bead-In Quilt.  Followed by WALKING BEYOND, a youth art exhibition and reception.
Both events are inspired by and responding to the art installation Walking With Our Sisters.
A community reception for the artists will follow.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Come join Earthdog Terrier Rescue’s Bark in the Park for a morning filled with fun, fitness, prizes and treats. Certified fitness instructors will conduct Bootcamp, Zumba and Yoga.

By registering and pledging funds you will be helping us care for dogs like Haley.
Haley has a degenerative bone disease called "Shortened Radius Syndrome”, a debilitating disease in which her growth plate was irreversibly damaged, causing her daily pain to the extent that she limps.
To give her a chance at a long, pain free life we are willing to do anything we can.
