Archaeology, Rocks and Mineral Show and Sale

Learn gold panning and discover the many uses of minerals in everyday life.
Participate in our Mineral Silent Auction held both days at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride through the marsh on Sunday from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
A fee of $3 for members and $5 for non-members apply to this forty-five minute ride.

Astronomy Night - Star Party & Fall Constellations

Fall is a great time to observe the night sky. The sun goes down earlier and the nights are still relatively warm.  Meet some members of the Royal Astronomy Society of Canada!

Canoe Workshop - Bring Your Own Canoe

Use your canoe and explore the lesser known regions of the marsh!
Canoe expert and author, Dusty Molinski, will highlight the different points of interest.
Pre-registration is required.  Workshop fee is $10 per person plus admission.

Migration Dinners & Rooftop Talk

Experience fall migration while enjoying a three-course dinner prepared by Chef Kelley, followed by a roof-top migration presentation and fly-in of geese and ducks at sunset.
Pre-registration is required.  Dinner is $45 for members and $52 for non-members.

View songbird banding demonstration from 8 a.m to noon (weather permitting).
Meet Koko, the burrowing owl ambassador, and learn about this endangered species, with
Prairie Wildlife Rehabitiation Centre on September 27
Wildlife Haven on September 28 from 12:30 to 4 p.m.
Explore the marsh with our Horse-drawn Wagon Ride - daily from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
A fee of $5 for non-members and $3 for members applies to this 30 to 45 minute ride.
Join us on for the daily Rooftop Fly-in at dusk.

Provincial Hunting Day

Learn all aspects of hunting, from wildlife stewardship and outdoor skills to marksmanship and equipment care. The event will feature an archery range, hunting dog demos, wild meat samples as well as prizes and raffles. Enjoy a delicious lunch from Danny's Whole Hog. Exhibitors will be showcasing wares and representing hunting-related organizations.
