the 20th Anniversary of Coffee Break®!

Celebrate with us by hosting an event during September and October.

Participants make a donation for a cup of coffee. You can host an event anywhere you can serve coffee. You can offer tea and juice as well as coffee, and add cookies or pastries to increase the donations.

The North Kildonan Community Players are proud to announce the auditions for The Secret Garden (musical).  The production will run November 18 to 22 at St. Boniface University Theatre.  Audition times MUST be confirmed in advance. Please email to book your slot.

Rehearsals begin September 7: Saturdays (1-4 Full cast); Sundays (6-9 leads/small groups in early rehearsals; full cast later in the run) and Mondays (6-9 full cast).

Oddblock is Winnipeg's new block party style, four-day comedy festival!

The festival will take place in multiple venues within a two block radius in Winnipeg’s South Osborne neighbourhood. Venues include The Park Theatre, Luxalune Gastropub, Deseo Bistro, Monticchio, and Vera Pizzeria. Each venue will host multiple comedy shows, featuring international touring comedians, national headliners and local comedians.

Oddblock will provide a localized, high-density and intimate setting for experiencing comedy. Patrons are encouraged to bike, bus, or drive to the area and spend the whole day in one location, attending multiple events. The comedic talent will lean more ‘alternative’ and will feature a wide array of performers, from international touring comedians to standout stand-ups from the local scene.

Gentil Mis Breakthrough Tour with Guest Musicians, Kelly Bado and Refuge. 

Gentil is a multi-talented performer whose lyrics celebrate love, courage and hope for a better world with an uplifting vibe. Prior to striking out on his own, Gentil had been recording as part of the band Exile Z, releasing the album Better Home in 2010.
