Yoga with a Jewish Twist with Patricia Kovnats, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM
Each class will include gentle movement (yoga) and meditation linked to Jewish teachings and will end with a guided relaxation. 
All 13+ are welcome – all levels of ability. No experience necessary. 
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in freely and bring a yoga mat, if you have one. After class we welcome you to attend the service followed by Kiddush at 11:30 and Torah Study at 12:45 PM.

Want to proudly represent Winnipeg at the Canadian Individual Poetry Slam in BC?
CIPS requires a 4 minute, a 3 minute, 2 minute and 1 minute poems. 
We'll be setting up that format to test our potential champions! 
Round 1 - 7:30 (15 poets - 3 minute pieces)
Feature - 8:15 (DMP)
Round 2 - 8:30 (top 10 poets from the 1st round - 2 minute pieces)
Round 3 - 9:00 (top 5 poets from the 1st round - 1 minute poems)

Ashley Gillanders: Methods of Preservation

Gillanders’ first solo show and it signals a departure from her preceding photographic work. While her earlier pieces were presented in a traditional format – as prints hung flat against walls – this is a series of photographic sculptures enclosed by Plexiglas covers and perched on pedestals or shelves.

Full hockey gear is mandatory.
The session teaches the foundations of skating and handling the puck, allowing participants to learn the basics, improve skills, and correct technique. Players develop stride, balance and agility accompanied with passing, stickhandling and shooting.

Canlan Ice Sports runs skating and hockey academies for children, youth and adults at all skill levels, from basic learn-to-skate programs, to advanced hockey skills.

Shaarey Zedek has a history of arts leadership, beginning with its fabulous, mid-century modern design, Leo Mol stained glass windows, contemporary menorah by Secter Associates, glass relief work in the foyer by Warren Carther, and more.

Bonivital Softball Association is proud to announce exclusive windmill pitching lessons for any member of a Bonivital club or age groups U10-U18 “B”.
Cost per pitcher is $112.50. Each pitcher must bring proper attire including inside shoes, duck tape, glove and a catcher (parent, teammate, etc.), per session. 

Lessons with a maximum 5-1 ratio of kids to clinicians.
The lessons will be structured for each group including warm-ups, warm-downs, basic and advanced drills, reps, individual assistance and an individual progress report.

Homophile Representation and its Discontents: Visual culture and queer bodies in North American and Europe in the mid-20th Century
Homosexual activists of the 50s and 60s endeavoured to secure civic and human rights for homosexuals as citizens through political advocacy. 
This talk will explore the visual culture of homophiles, the images, photography, and illustrations published in homophile magazines, as well works of art celebrated by homophile authors and activists.

CRUMBS Stephen Sim and Lee White have been performing together since 1992. They started touring Canada in 1998, and in 2001 were invited to the very first Berlin International Improv Festival.
