Taste the Village is now partnering with the Wall to Wall Mural Festival for 2016 to unveil the new murals of Osborne Village with a culinary twist. 
The Wall to Wall mural celebration will take place at the corner of River Avenue and Osborne Street, located at Little Sister Coffee Maker. 
The culinary activities will take place one block south at the Winnipeg Parking Authority lot. With places to wine, dine or sip and savour, the Village has a little taste for everyone.

4th Annual Walk/Run for Wildlife, Hosted by Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
This is PWRC's biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised goes directly to cover the cost of care for the over 1200 wild patients PWRC admits each year. 
Please join us for a 5 km walk, 5 km run or 10 km run followed by pancake breakfast and meet and greet time with our Educational Ambassadors. Participants are encouraged to collect pledges from their friends and family either online or via our paper pledge sheet.

Wall-To-Wall X Star Blanket Project X - ᒪᒫ Māmāow Community
Join us in celebrating this mural encompassing the parking lot of 611 Main Street by Kenneth Lavallee and emerging artists from Red Road Lodge. The event will feature a curated art exhibition by Niki Little, live music performances and the official unveiling of the work. 

The star blanket’s geometric representation of our morning star is intended to protect, empower, give comfort and hope to those wearing it over their shoulders. The design will commemorate and draw attention to missing and murdered Indigenous women. 

ᒪᒫ | Māmāow | Community - Win-nipi has been a site of Indigenous community for over 6,000 years, Win-nipi has experienced many histories, treaties and “developments”. Māmāow highlights the way Indigenous communities can be activated through art and creators. Lita Fontaine, Katherena Vermette, Jackie Traverse with Red Rising Magazine, and Jaime Black are artists who work with Indigenous community.

Wall-To-Wall X NUIT Blanche X - RTMF BIKE JAM Launch
We will be launching the famous Rainbow Trout Bike Jam with a full free concert series and art programming! This will be the official unveiling of Winnipeg’s newest works by Bruno Smoky & Shalak Attack and The PA System (with mentoring artists Parr Josephee and Parr Josephee.) We’ve got the Main Stage going with some of Winnipeg’s best acts! A collaborative graffiti mural will be happening and youth arts programming with Jessica Canard.

Communities March for Peace and BBQ
Meet at 5:30 pm at Orioles Community Centre, 444 Burnell St., OR NW Corner of Sherbrook and Broadway. The Marches will wind up at Central Park at 7 pm with a community BBQ and free live concert by JD and the Sunshine Band! 

Hundreds of people from the seven West Central communities will come together to say 'no more violence' in our homes, on our streets or in our communities. Violence has touched many of our lives and it is time to support each other as we work to stop the cycle. 
The March is being put on by community organization Peace Partners that provide help to families, youth, adults and seniors. They will be on hand with information about resources. 
So bring your drums, signs and noise makers, and help us show the community that they are not alone as we walk together towards peace!

The One Take Super 8 Event Hosted by WNDX Festival of Moving Image
After more than a decade and hundreds of films, you would think Winnipeggers would’ve run out of original ideas for super 8 films. You would be wrong.
Over thirty new, never-seen-before small gauge reels will be added to WNDX's One Take Super 8 Event’s canon. Anything can happen in these single reel, unedited super 8 films. Audiences are guaranteed a one of a kind film screening featuring local talent on the big screen adding new treasures to a long history of totally independent and budget conscious filmmaking in the peg.
