March 27 - December 2021

Qaumajuq's inaugural exhibition is historic in itself. For the first time ever, a curatorial team represents all four regions of Inuit Nunangat: Dr. Heather Igloliorte, asinnajaq, Krista Ulujuk Zawadski, and Kablusiak.
INUA has two meanings: spirit or life force; and an acronym for Inuit Nunangat Ungammuaktut Atautikkut, or “Inuit moving forward together”.
The show features more than 90 Inuit artists working across the Arctic and urban centres. New commissions alongside works from the WAG’s world-renowned collection of Inuit art span generations of artists.

Free Admission to Le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum Throughout 2021

https://www.wpgforfree.ca/2021/02/12/free-admission-to-le-musee-de-saint-boniface-museum-throughout-2021/

Manitoba 150 exists to shine a light on all that makes Manitoba amazing and unique – our beauty, people, cultures, and history. With support from Réseau Compassion Network, Le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum – home to the world’s largest collection of Louis Riel artifacts, is offering free admission to individuals and families throughout 2021.

The Grey Nuns’ convent, Winnipeg’s oldest building, houses Le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum. Built for the Grey Nuns who arrived in the Red River Colony in 1844, the structure is an outstanding example of Red River frame construction. The Museum presents an impressive collection of artifacts that reveal the lives and culture of the Francophone and Métis communities of Manitoba, including a special exhibit about Louis Riel, the “father” of Manitoba.

We know that the vaccines approved for Covid 19 are mRNA type vaccines. There's lots of questions on how they work. The road we have ahead of us… is really trying to steer people towards the information that they can get that is actually factual, science-based, Michelle Kirkbride from NorWest Co-op Community Health discusses addressing vaccine hesitancy in Manitoba. We want everyone to have access to accurate information for Covid vaccines and all health information.

This rescue works tireless to rescue and save animals from Northern communities. These dogs are often skin and bones living in sub-temps shivering cold sometimes with broken bones and bullet fragment injuries.
For the price of a cup of Timmies or Starbucks you can purchase straw bales which are shipped up North to provide some warmth during the cold.
