The Winnipeg Humane Society is happy to announce our partnership with Valour FC for their upcoming Pups at the Pitch game. We will receive $5 from every Pup + Person ticket sold!

First Fridays Bike-Ins are back! In partnership with Winnipeg Trails, we’re leading three group rides into the Exchange District. These guided rides will show you the safest routes from different neighbourhoods throughout Winnipeg, and give you the confidence to feel comfortable biking downtown!

The second bike-in kicks off in St. Vital at Glenwood Community Centre, with a pickup spot along the way. In the Exchange we'll end at Little Brown Jug for $1 off beers and a display by The WRENCH, hosted by Tatiana Carnevale before you're free to explore all of the First Fridays programming at participating galleries and local businesses.

Players are given a bingo card(s) where traditional bingo numbers have been replaced with song names, music titles or both! Your host DJ plays 45-60-second clips of music and you mark off spots on your bingo card. We'll be handing out hundreds of dollars in prizes, and door prizes throughout the night!

CaRaVaN at the Cube runs every Monday through September 19.
CaRaVaN is an entirely volunteer-run open mic. CaRaVaN regularly features artists with a wide range of skill levels and we welcome them all! Musicians will get 2 songs, while all others will have approximately 5 minutes.
Maintain a reasonable distance from folks you don't know. Mask use make some feel more comfortable, so please wear them if you'd like!

Free Field Trip: Brokenhead River Trail Plant Knowledge with Taylor Galvin
A free wheelchair-accessible bus will depart from MAWA at 12:30 pm and return at 6:00 pm. (Masks must be worn on the bus.) You are also welcome to meet us there at 1:45 pm. Take highway #59 to Brokenhead and turn right on Bison Drive. Go 5 km to the roundhouse, which is wheelchair accessible.

We will meet at the roundhouse and continue along the river for a 90-minute guided walk of traditional medicine plants and their uses led by Taylor Galvin of Brokenhead, a U of W guest lecturer in Indigenous plant knowledge. There will be time for independent drawing, painting or writing, further exploration, questions or visiting.
Bring your own lunch/snacks, drinks and art supplies. Bug spray, sunscreen, hats and good walking shoes are recommended. No dogs.
