One Take Super8 Classes

Experimental Series: One Take Super 8 and Hand Processing

The Winnipeg Film Group is presenting a two-day class to introduce students to the world of in-camera editing as it is utilized by filmmakers for the One Take Super8 Event, as well as basic camera operation and hand processing.

Classes will be held on
Sunday, June 6 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 13 11:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

Registration Fee: $90 mem | $110 non-mem
Limit: 8 students

Each student will conceive and complete their own 3-minute, in-camera edited Super 8 film and will be provided 2 rolls of film each. All materials and equipment supplied by WFG.

Andrew Milne is a Winnipeg-based Multi-Disciplinary Artist working with film, video, performance, sculpture, and photography. Andrew's work revolves around the investigation of identity and its relationship to memory and experience. Using techniques of transformation and embodiment, focusing on creating work that is organic and visceral, Andrew attempts to disquiet the viewer's perceptions of possibility and self.
