WAG’s Live on the Rooftop Switches It Up This Summer!!
After 35 years of Jazz on the Rooftop, the Winnipeg Art Gallery is switching up its summer concert series to include a wider range of music.
“Jazz on the Rooftop has been a success story for decades,” says Doren Roberts, Events and Rentals Manager. “People love the ambience—the best live music in the city, delicious barbeque by Storm Bistro, a soft breeze wafting through, the prairie sunset... we felt it was time to kick it up a notch, and branch out into more musical genres.”
Tickets are $20 for WAG members and $25 for non-members.
They can be purchased online or at the WAG front desk.
Barbeque by Storm Bistro $25.
The jazz component is still included in this series.
But the WAG is also including Mariachi Ghost who combine traditional Mexican music
with funk, acid, jazz, prof rock, even a bit of metal.
