their first annual Christmas Train Show!

Bring the kids to visit Santa Claus, and stay for the layouts and displays: 
No. 1 Northern Division’s Free-Mo HO gauge modular layout
WinNtak’s N gauge modular layout
Gerrit Vanderklok’s HO gauge switching layout featuring Digitrax radio and sound

Multiple award-winning modeller Ron Einarson will be holding a modelling workshop. 
Certified Master Model Railroader Fred Headon, of Warehouse Hobbies, will offer model railroading and modelling advice. 

The Man with the Lionel Giraffe Cars will be there for the kids!
He'll also let you unload the operating cars!

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The St. Amant Centre.

November 12 - Host-a-Block fun begins at 4:00 p.m. / Parade starts at 5:00 p.m.

Consider the CBC Manitoba building the north pole as we are the first (and best) spot to watch the Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade. Arrive early for a prime Santa-spotting seat on our bleachers. Santa's jolly helpers, Janet Stewart and John Sauder, will play a few reindeer games and give away some goodies from Santa's swag bag. 
We'll have noisemakers, mitts, and a few surprises, oh my!

Get a bit of extra warmth from our friends at Elim Chapel who will be handing out hot chocolate before the parade.
And don't forget to bring your Letters to Santa or a Christmas Cheer Board donation!

Séan McCann’s love for Newfoundland and Labrador folk songs shot him to international fame as a founding member of Great Big Sea. After millions of albums, countless hit songs, and record breaking tours, Séan realized that his 20 years with the band had to stop. 
In January 2014 Séan released Help Your Self. Séan’s journey continues through You Know I Love You. Produced by Joel Plaskett, and with an original piece of artwork per song by singer/songwriter Meaghan Smith, Séan is trying to find a balance.

Learn how to use image transfers in your art and finish the piece by using mixed media. 

Transfer text, images, prints, drawings, and magazine images! Each student will transfer multiple images onto canvas through collaging. No chemicals will be used. An Evening of Lute Songs in an Irish Pub!

Camerata Nova joins international star tenor Michael Slattery and La Nef, an early music group from Montréal, in a creative concert based on the music of Renaissance composer John Dowland. With great skill, charm and integrity, La Nef has arranged Dowland’s music in Celtic style, as it would have been played in an Irish Pub in the early 1600s.

For Dowland in Dublin, La Nef features Sylvain Bergeron (lute and arrangements),
Alex Kehler (violin), Amanda Keesmaat, as well as Seán Dagher (cittern and arrangements)
and Grégoire Jeay (flute and recorders).
