HA²M was founded by members of the Unitarian Universalist Church in the early 90’s. Today, HA²M is made up of atheists, agnostics, and humanists. For our members, the thought of church evokes a variety of emotions. UU has no dogma or creeds, and many of its leaders identify as atheist, agnostic, or humanist. So what exactly is Unitarian Universalism? Please join us as we explore this unusual religion.

We’ll be joined by Stefan Jonasson, a Unitarian Minister and church leader; and Kris Breckman, a former HAAM Member, local church leader, and member of the UU church for over 50 years. Both our guests identify as humanist, atheist, and/or agnostic, so bring your questions for them.

Charity of the month: The Spence Neighbourhood Association (SNA) currently runs a drop-in program, Monday to Friday evenings, in the Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre on Langside Street. They plan to operate 24/7 on weekends and holidays.
The program targets youth between the ages of 15 and 26 and currently serves an average of 80 to 100 youth every day. It expects as many as 30 participants overnight once the extended hours start.
Let's help them to offer children and youth on the street at night a safe place.
Donations will be collected at the meeting. Tax receipts for donations over $10.
You can donate via the HAAM website.

Boys with Braids is a gathering to share teachings about the sacredness of hair, to foster a sense of pride for boys who choose to grow their hair long and using education to stop teasing, bullying and harassment.

Endorsed by Boys with Braids Saskatoon creator Michael Linklater, a father who was tired of hearing his children's experiences. As these were the same issues he’d faced as a braid-wearing boy he opted to have an educational gathering.
