This is a porch show outdoors! The Dealer's Choice Tour is a triple bill featuring three award-winning Ontario singer-songwriters: Rebekah Hawker, Sarah Hiltz, and Shawna Caspi.
The first half of the show is a songwriters-in-the-round format, with each artist taking turns swapping songs. The second set invites participation from YOU, the audience (aka The Dealer)! During intermission audience members write down suggestions for song themes and put them in a hat. The artists choose themes for each round and play songs based on those themes.
The performers have to think quickly, connecting their songs to each theme, and the audience is left with a memorable evening. It’s a show that’s different every time!

Event by Send + Receive: a festival of sound
Send + receive welcomes Takleef Ensemble and the William Hooker/Theo Woodward duo to Winnipeg for a special outdoor concert during Alleyways in the Exchange.

Theo Woodward is a composer, improviser, multi-instrumentalist, and video artist. He uses synthesizers, midi controllers, vocals, and assorted woodwind instruments to wield a dynamic array of sounds ranging from amorphous ambient textures to frenetic sound collages.
