This book is one man’s story of early childhood abuse and the impacts of this abuse. This is the story of an individual who used those experiences as a catalyst to thrive.
Ron Bilton is a National Champion Fighter who represented Canada in numerous international competitions and a police officer who has spent 25 years protecting and serving those unable to defend themselves.

In this powerful new play based on work with incarcerated women, parody is interspersed with harsh reality. Created in partnership with the Elizabeth Fry Society of Manitoba, this thought-provoking work raises important questions.
With a BFA in performance and an MFA in directing, Hope McIntyre is in her 13th year as Artistic Director of Sarasvàti Productions. Her published plays include
Hunger, Revisioning, Ripple Effect and excerpts from
Have Mercy. Her most recent play
Eden premiered in 2012. She teaches at the U of W and is a former President of the Playwrights Guild of Canada.
Cairn A. Moore is a director and playwright and teaches performance at the U of W.
Cairn has written three plays solo, edited a scene book anthology entitled
Generation NeXXt and is the Associate Artistic director of FemFest.

Careers For Kids: How To Help Your Kids Choose A Career
Careers For Kids was written to teach parents how to help their children find real job security; uncover their kids’ career and life potential; save as much as $25,000 in wasted tuition fees; and keep their kids from wasting their talents.
After working in multiple career and educational roles with the Government of Alberta, University of Calgary and the Calgary Board of Education, Robert Shewchuk has decided to focus his attention on helping parents learn how to help their children.

A Monthly Showcase Celebrating Singer Songwriters
Registration begins at 8:00 pm with 11 musicians selected by lottery.
The first act opens at 8:30 pm and the evening will run until 11:00 pm.
Each musician will have 10 minutes on stage.
Solo performances preferred; no objection to a backup musician or duo. Only original acoustic music. No covers. No drum kits. No heavy metal. We provide the sound system and mic. Bring your own guitar, keyboard, harmonica or hand drum.
All ages and music welcome.
A tapas menu will be available throughout the night.
