Directed by Will Pascoe (Orphan Black, Bitten) and produced by Tony Wosk and Kyle Bornais, Lost Heroes documents the history of the Canadian comic book superhero.
From the Golden Age, through the invention of Captain Canuck and Wolverine, to the present day this film asks: Why can't Canada maintain its national superhero?

Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba (MDAM) is holding its Stand Up to Stigma Comedy Night. The show will be filmed as a special edition of the Shaw TV show, The Week Thus Far. Al Rae will be our special guest. Scott Nolan will be our musical act.
We will also have a silent auction during our intermission.

All funds raised will be used to provide education and support to those suffering from postpartum depression and youth suffering from mood disorders. Our key focus is to reduce the stigma towards mood disorders.

This unique, little beauty features a detachable pincushion for those times when you need pins, but not the bag. The bag always remains open thanks to the rigid opening. Scarves are always in season! Make it in fleece, sheer, cotton, or knit.  Make it long, make it short, make it wide, make it narrow – you decide. This is a great class for beginners who want more experience with simple construction and straight line sewing.  Class Fee: $25.00

Activities may include snowshoeing, bannock baking, winter games and more. 
This camp has both indoor and outdoor components.

Learn what our feathered friends eat during the winter. 
Create some fun art work with various bird seeds.

New Trees at the Marsh
The marsh will offer a wider variety of perching and nesting for many birds next spring.
Oak Hammock's new program, A Bird in the Hand, has officially been chosen as a Canadian Signature Experience by the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC). The new program combines a hands-on songbird banding experience with a canoe excursion in the marsh.

Seminole patchwork is a form of quilting by cutting various strip widths from different coloured fabrics, then sewing these strips together to form a long band, and then cut units from these bands. By using various layouts, sew them into a new pattern.
