Fifth Annual Christmas Shoebox Drive, gifting children of the north end and core area
Fill a shoe box with small toys, hygienes, socks, mitts, books, art supplies, 
gift cards, Christmas Candy and treats! Anything a child would enjoy! 
Label it with gender and age and keep the lid open. We will accept boxes right up to December 19 at 12:00 noon; for those who cannot drop off any sooner, boxes can be dropped off the night before at address provided. 

For many Christmas can be a stressful time of year - the added pressures and expenses to a low income family can be hard. Some children will get very little at Christmas. Here is your opportunity to bless a child with something extra.
If you cannot make a box you can sponsor a gift box for $30 to $50.

VESTIGE, a bittersweet commemoration of the closure of the Frame Arts Warehouse and CSPACE Gallery, this contemporary mural incorporates themes of loss, longing, shadow and memory, while still celebrating this city, its local art scene, and the power of collaboration.
This mural will live on forever in memory and also via technologies such as photography, social media, and public art apps. Vestiges will be left behind, contributing to the history and future of street art in Winnipeg.

Join Nine Circles Community Health Centre as we light up the Leg in red.  Then join us inside in the Rotunda for free food, hot beverages and a look at what's next for the fight against HIV in Manitoba.  The first 50 people to arrive get a free toque!
