A critical discussion on Indigenous representation in media and how projects like Red Rising Magazine are changing the media landscape.  Guest speakers:

Michael Champagne - featured in Time magazine and included as one of 24 of the world's next generation leaders.

Sheila North Wilson, Grand Chief of MKO, has media experience, most recently CTV.

Manitoba Underdogs Rescue is struggling to pay mounting veterinary bills after taking in 13 stray dogs from remote northern communities. The organization that rescues hungry and freezing dogs is facing vet bills topping $8,000.

It’s heartbreaking. We bring these dogs in from the cold and you cross your fingers that they’re going to be okay. Sometimes all they need is a bit of TLC, but sadly sometimes they’re very, very sick. But you can’t say no. You just can’t.
