In 2009, nearly 250 incidents of dogs biting people were reported in Winnipeg. Join the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba Hydro Utility Services, Canada Post and the Winnipeg Humane Society to understand the impact of dog bites and how to prevent them. Learn what can lead a dog to bite someone, the serious consequences pet owners could face and what to do to curb aggressive tendencies in your pet.
Workers who have recently experienced dog bites will be available to provide a first-hand account. In addition, a canine participant - a Rottweiler named Keisha - will also be on-site, in front of the home.
Have a great day. How can you miss - you're in Winnipeg!
