The new Canada Strong Pass will grant Canadians free entry to all national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas managed by Parks Canada.
In addition to the free access, pass holders will also receive 25% off camping fees at national parks. The initiative is set to run until September 2 and stems from a Liberal campaign pledge aimed at boosting domestic tourism in light of the trade tensions with the United States.

It was built by early Winnipeg real estate developer Mark Fortune in 1882. Fortune served on city council from 1879-1881 and helped found the Winnipeg Real Estate Board in 1903. Tragically he lost his life aboard the Titanic in 1912.
