Naomi Klein will speak about her bestselling book This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs the Climate (2014). Klein argues that corporate power needs to be reined in, local economies rebuilt, and democracy reclaimed.
Author of No Logo (1999) and The Shock Doctrine (2007), Ms. Klein is also an award-winning journalist and accomplished filmmaker. Ms. Klein has launched the Leap Manifesto during the Toronto International Film Festival debut of This Changes Everything and is a member of the board of directors of

Clayton Thomas-Muller will introduce Naomi Klein. He is an activist for Indigenous self-determination and environmental justice from Mathais Colomb Cree Nation (Pukatawagan) in Northern Manitoba. He works with, a global grassroots movement to address the climate crisis. 

The event is hosted by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives Manitoba office.
