Dave Quanbury is set to release Still Life With Canadian, a reclamation project of his Canadian identity thanks to American immigration laws. In 2014, after a routine visit to family in his old hometown of Winnipeg, Quanbury (formerly of multiple-Juno-nominated Twilight Hotel) was refused re-entry to the United States because of an immigration issue, and was confronted with the difference between a home and a hometown.

Born from the fusing of seven Winnipeg musicians, Apollo Suns have created a refreshing and innovative sound combining instrumental, rock, jazz and psychedelic music.

Drawing on the wisdom of the Patanjali's Yoga Sutra, he will discuss how this liberated self, released from habitual patterns of mistaken identity, is free to experience life in its own power, one with the Whole and for the benefit of all life.
