Dianne Warren is a playwright, and fiction author. She is the two-time winner of both the Western magazine Award for Fiction and the City of Regina Writing Award. Her play Serpent of the Night Sky was short-listed for a Governor General’s Award for Drama in 1992. She was the recipient of the Writer’s Trust Marian Engel Award.
Her novel Cool Water garnered her the 2010 Governor General’s Award for Fiction.
Joan Thomas is currently Writer-in-Residence at the Winnipeg Public Library, and is the author of two novels, Curiosity and Reading by Lightning.
