From rural Manitoba, Ben and Helen Eidse were the first missionaries sent to the heart of Congo. The Eidses and their African partners established 80 churches, ran 24 clinics, delivered the leprosy cure, and translated the Bible. Amid revolution and disability, the Eidses raised four daughters.

Helen was a nursing graduate of Grace Hospital.  Ben is Chancellor of Steinbach Bible College.  Faith Eidse is the author of the award-wining Voices of the Apalachicola.

In 2008, Mark Stobbe was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder. He listened to fellow inmates and watched the functioning of the Remand Centres. He interprets these observations to create insights into Canada’s jail system. On March 29, 2012, he was acquitted.

Mark Stobbe was a senior communications official with the Government of Manitoba when his wife, Beverley Rowbotham, was murdered in October of 2000. He is the co-author of Devine Rule in Saskatchewan: A Decade of Hope and Hardship.

Silent Auction l 50/50 Draw

Tickets and donations - please e mail Kim

We are looking for donations for our Silent Auction and Grand Prize Auction.

If you do not want steak then you have your choice of a BBQ chicken breast or veggie skewer. I will need to know your choice at least 5 days before the event.

We can not sell tickets at the door because we need to let the venue know how many are attending 4 days before the event. If you let me know in advance that you will be there and that you can not pick up tickets before hand, then I will put them aside for you and include you in our count.

Unfortunately your furry friends are not invited to this event. Sorry!
If you have any other questions, feel free to send me an email. Thanks! ~ Kim ~
